@tacheman you gt read the news to be on the same page at work – esp. in finance. But I can justify your answer with: whatever you’re reading in the Journal on the way to work, you should have read on Bloomberg the day before.
One point I would like to add is – go to gym during lunch time and attend some music based classes such as spin or body pump. You will effectively divide your day in two parts with a refreshing break of listening to upbeat music.
One really useful tip that I picked up a long time ago is to never read or listen to the news on the way to work. Generally that gets you in a deep funk that tends to last most of the day. Much better to play games on your phone or listen to music – gets me going on the right mood!
