      I am a level 1 candidate. I will be taking the exam this June. I am also a MBA student, a Managerial Statistics Grading Assistant, and a Corporate Finance Teaching Assistant. I have been lurking around the site for a while and I really appreciate what this community has to offer. Hopefully I will be able to help someone as I have received tons of help already.

        In my opinion the condensed nature of the supplementary material is great if you have been exposed to some of the curriculum at some point. It is also a gigantic time saver. However, if you have very limited knowledge of the curriculum as a whole I would get both. Hopefully this helps.
