It’s a pretty nice simple cheat sheet app, it definitely beats going through notes when I need to try to find a formula. The only thing that I don’t like is the calculator (only because I’ll be tempted to use it which won’t help me memorize the formula for the test)…but I’ll try to fight the temptation.
Btw, there’s no Covariance formula in QM (in case you want to add that in in a future update)…anyway, cool app.
in reply to: Multi-Period DDM with financial calculator #83853Up::6I’m pretty sure that there isn’t a way, you just have to grind it out piece by piece. Correct me if I’m wrong, it would save a lot of time.
in reply to: Which topic did you find the hardest in Level 1? #84193in reply to: Question of the Week – Corporate Finance #83730in reply to: Call the Toll Free numbers – ACCESS CODE NEEDED??? #83845Up::2I went through my emails, and found the first email that I got from the CFA Institute confiming that I registered with them. It has a CFA institute ID there, I’m not sure if that’s what they mean by access code, but it doesn’t hurt to try.
in reply to: Call the Toll Free numbers – ACCESS CODE NEEDED??? #83852Up::1I don’t think you can (I could be wrong though). That being said, I couldn’t log on yesterday or today from my macbook, but it worked today from my PC and my phone, so maybe try using a different device.
Good luck!
in reply to: Am I too young to take the CFA exam? #83402Up::0There are minimum requirements to take the CFA exam, basically you need a bachelor’s degree, be in the last year of getting a bachelor’s degree, or have 4 years of professional work experience to register for the exam. Here is the info directly from the CFAI:
https://www.cfainstitute.org/programs/cfaprogram/register/Pages/index.aspx
That being said, if you qualify, I would say you should definitely take the exam as early as possible. The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll finish and you will be ahead of most of your peers when you get your charter (I wish I knew about this program when I was 20…I’m 29 now). Don’t worry about being too young or inexperienced, you’ll just have to study hard and get the material down, that’s how anybody learns at the end of the day. In short, do it!
