The 2 reasons I am considering a CFA are
1) An entry into the banking sector
2) More money

1) Based on your article, it looks like a CFA is worth trying and I can hope to get a job in an investment bank . Pl correct me if I am wrong
I have zero finance background, am an IT guy with 12+ yrs of exp and yes looking to switch careers.

2) More money —> The numbers of 180,000 and the like , after how many years of experience can I hope to make that ?
