@CFAin80days If you had some extra time and effort – I’m sure that would really help. Although if you’re going strictly for the CFA exams it might be better to optimize exactly for the exam though.
Judging from your screenname are you trying to nail the exam in 80 days?
Yes…I only have about 3 days to spend on each study session. I guess I shoudl be okay if I can answer the EOC’s, but I still feel like I have a shaky foundation.
Up3It would be great to have a detailed comparison (with supporting evidence, including references to specific passages or page numbers) of the different study guides available (Schweser, Elan, Finquiz, etc)
Up3I’m not sure if this is true, but I’ve heard that Elan guides have more typos. I have a friend who’s currently using Elan. The notes do seem to cover more material than Schweser, but they do not seem as well-organized.
Up2I hear that Elan videos cover over 90% of the lecture notes, but they are LONG, with some over 3 hours.
Up2I’m studying for level 1 too. So far, I’ve only finished Quant and half of FRA (up to reading 29)

Great article. I’m actually thinking of getting the Fitbit One, although I hear its sleep tracking capabilities may not yield accurate results. The most accurate sleep tracking gadget for consumers is from a boston-area startup called Zeo, but unfortunately they are shutting down. 🙁

Up2I use a flashcard app on my phone that syncs to my notes on my computer. pretty handy for when you’re waiting in line or during lunch breaks
