If you look at other member profiles, you’ll see that some members have a large number of badges on their profile, like this:
From day one in the 300 Hours Community, you can obatain a multitude of points by discovering and earning badges. The more you explore the forum, the more likely you are to stumble upon a badge! To get you started, we’ve put together a list of a few that you can get.
First Comment – Your first comment gets you a badge. That was easy.
10 Comments – more comments gets you more badges!
Photogenic – uploading a profile photo puts a face to a screenname.
Name Dropper – addressing a fellow member by using the @ mention.
Socialite – inviting at least 5 your buddies to the forum via our invite form.
Twitter Connector – Enabling Twitter sign-in (your details will remain hidden).
Facebook Connector – Enabling Facebook sign-in (your details will remain hidden).
Level I Completed – Passing Level I, and entering your results in the Results Analysis form.
Level II Completed – Passing Level II, and entering your results in the Results Analysis form.
Level III Completed – Passing Level III, and entering your results in the Results Analysis form.
This is Sparta!!! – Failing your exams, and entering your results in the Results Analysis form.
This shouldn’t be an incentivization! For the last 4 badges, please allow a few days before the badge is awarded as there is a semi-manual process we have to go through.
There are many other badges that are up for grabs – some more secret than others. If you see a badge on another member’s profile that you’re curious about, you may find out how to earn it by clicking on the badge itself.
Happy hunting!

@imdnextbuffet Points are an indication of how involved you’ve been in the forum. We’re thinking of reward tiers for points (e.g. get XXX when you reach YYY points) but yet to decide on something concrete.
What we have decided is to give away prizes to the top 3 weekly leaders every week until the June exam 🙂
Oh really? then I see myself on top of weekly ladder, what do I get bro? 😉

@imdnexbuffet you have to wait till the end of the week. But since you are winning with such a wide margin, no worries!

@mattjuniper – stay tuned on this! We’re thinking of a ‘passed Level X’ badge to be implemented soon 🙂
@imdnextbuffet – if you’re first, you get a free copy of an Elan 11th Hour Guide and the 3H Results Analysis Report just in time for your exams. 2nd and 3rd will also get a free copy of the 3H Report.@Diya – the week is still young!

LOL @imdnextbuffet – looks like you got more competition this week! I already got both Elan 11th hour and the result analysis report, else would have joined the fun!
@maroon5 why not still be on top. So what if you got elan guide. Thrive to be on top for as long as you can, for you know there would be others to knock you down.As far as competition yes lols many join in the forum so more competition in a way good for the website only.

You can also earn Facebook and Twitter badges by connecting your accounts. I don’t think they’ll reveal your Twitter and/or Facebook details, but rather you can just sign in using these accounts and share discussions etc.

Um, so those who are re-writing get “This is Sparta!!!”? How though? I’ve filled the result analysis form before too.

I had filled the level 1 results, but I just filled in again with my screen name, hopefully it doesn’t ‘distort’ the results.

@ajfinance I wasn’t sure – to me, the ‘Level III completed’ and ‘Charterholder’ badge is completely the same then…thoughts?
You can pass Level 3 and not be eligible for the Charter. Plus even if you eligible for it, it can take a long time to get the necessary references (i know of someone that took a year to get the charter after passing L3!).
A badge would act as an incentive 🙂

But 1 question? If I get the points, what do I do with it? or what does or will it signify? like would their be levels of membership? I just thought to get some clarity? I’m a noobie you see.
