I have a month before my next semester of MBA starts, and I since time is going to be very limited in general, I was wondering what people here thought of using 2014 CFA Level 3 material to study for the exam in 2015.

I’ve looked at all of the reading headings and found 2014 to be a very close match with 2015. Not sure if the same reading headers necessarily means that every LOS is the same but I’d imagine complete overhauls to be rare. I’ve contemplated the same and think I’ll use 2014 material for level 3 myself. I’ve used out of date material at every level so far and have yet to pay for it with a failed attempt. Just use the core curriculum for the odd reading you don’t have.
