I have taken CFA L2 twice and unfortunately I have failed twice. The first time I was quite clear on what the issues in my preparation where and I thought I knew how to correct them, which was obviously not the case. The second attempt at L2 I focused on EOQs and third party provider question bank (UWorld). I did watch all their explanatory videos but I did not open the books for the second time around. I studied around 500 hrs for the second attempt and did 5 practice tests with an avg of 70.

As I am deciding whether to sit for the L2 again I am wondering if there is something I need to tweak in my study approach to give me a better shot at passing. Needless to say I am quite discouraged to have failed twice so now the question becomes should I attempt it again or find something else to dedicate my time to. I do want to keep trying (thus why I am here). However I find myself questioning whether passing is actually an option for me as I thought my second effort surely would have resulted in a passing grade.

I appreciate any sort of input this community might have.

You need to study the CFA L2 books. Go through EOC questions and blue box 2 to 3 times before exam and take 10 mocks.
