I hope everyone had a wonderful new year! Today marks the first day of my level II preparation and I just had a question for you all:
Of all the test prep providers, whose videos did you find to be the most helpful?
I used Schweser last year and found the videos to be pretty good and might end up using them again this year, but I just wanted to check to see if anyone had a better experience with a different provider.
Thanks all!

Arif Irfanullah – started off as a tutor, and expanded to online video lectures, has a lower cost as obviously less established. Maybe try one or two video lectures out (you can buy them separately) and see how it goes? I haven’t tried them myself.

@swift that’s why I struggled with videos in general – I can’t dictate the pace, which makes paying attention much harder for me.
@dollarstodonuts no problem! -

I’ve got access to both Elan and Schweser videos for level 2. The Elan ones are definitely more detailed but are also 2 to 3 times longer than the Schweser ones. One of the lecturers also insists on hand writing notes over the slides which slows things and I find it makes it more difficult for me to stay engaged.
I’m probably going to stick with the Schweser videos for most topics and only use the Elan ones for the topics that I’m struggling with. As detailed as they are there just isn’t enough time to watch them all (for example for FRA Elan have ~20 hours of videos compared to Schweser who do it in ~10hours).
FWIW I’m a big fan of the Elan study notes so far though.
