Hi guys – so before I began my CFA journey, I tried to do a lot of reading on prep materials to see which would be best. I already knew I didn’t just want to read straight from the CFAi text (its very bland and wordy).
Anyways, my research led me to the conclusion of Kaplan + MM videos. So I have been going along at a good pace with my Kaplan Schweser program, but find it difficult to figure out when to use MM. I haven’t paid for it yet, but Kaplan has their own video library as well.
Do most people that do Kaplan and MM use the programs side by side or finish Kaplan first and then use MM videos as a review before the exam?
Trying to decide if its too late to purchase MM content or if it will still provide me value.

I can only speak anecdotally, but I’ve not heard of many cases of people using multiple providers at the same time. Personally I find videos harder to work with because the pace of study is dictated by the video, not by me.
Of course there are providers that people swear by, but at the end of the day you just need to pick one and focus on studying – that’s what gets your pass.
But if you’re planning to use both MM and Kaplan I would suggest using one as your ‘main’ and the other as your goto when you need more explanation on a particular concept, and for review.
