How were you doing on your mocks? Was is significantly different than your scores? How many exams did you do?
I would say go for it. The best practice for the exam is the exam itself – so you’ve already got that experience and you’ll be in good position for the next sitting. Sounds like you have the background for it.
I would recommend doing more practice questions – usually people who know the topics well are not prepared enough to apply their knowledge to problems. For example, we had a candidate who passed L1 in December send this to us:
I found learning how to write the exam was almost more important than mastering the theory. Exam questions provided by AdaptPrep CFA really helped coach me to the place where I was ready to write.
Build a disciplined schedule for the next 3 months. Particularly set aside time to ramp up the areas that you didn’t score as high on. Some areas you may not really even need to study in at all if you are confident in that topic. Don’t treat them all equally as studying stuff you already know is wasted time.
You’re going to do great!
