@Pranav i used a big rubber band and bundled my eraser and pencil together, each calculator on the back pocket of my jeans, front pockets will be my passport and exam ticket.
I used a mixture of mechanical pencil and wooden pencil, just be gentle with your mechanical pencil as you do not want to puncture through the answers sheet.

make sure there’s no wording on the band, otherwise it will be banned! :)) The proctors are very strict!

3. also, how do you carry your exam day supplies? i have a box of pencils, couple of erasers, a sharpener (maybe the pen-pencil – depends on answer to 1), a calculator. There is no mention of any box allowed on the CFA site, so does everything have to be carried loose?

ok, it says pencil cases and carrying cases not allowed for (3). so carry loose items is the choice 🙁 what a bother!

@Zee gotcha, no containers…doubt i’ll have to bother with the batteries either but precaution prevails 😉
@mattyc ah yes, forgot about that…will check the steps for that too…hoodie ain’t suspicious? 😛 i anticipate very cold environment too, will go with a jacket…guess the pockets will suffice, thanks!
@vincentt oh good, so it’s allowed then…will carry the mechanical one but most likely use the wooden ones…off to find rubber bands now 😀 -
