I haven't found any information pertaining to this on the CFA website. Is there a maximum amount of questions that can be asked on a single topic inside of each Functional Area (Ethics, Quant, Econ, etc). For example Quant is supposed to be around 12% of the exam (around 29 questions), can there be 10-15 questions on a single topic of Quant? Or should they all be very spread out and you shouldn't get more than 2 questions on a single topic? Thanks...

Hi @cfalevel1candidate For Level 1 you can expect the balance to be pretty distributed - I'd be surprised if there was a heavy skew towards any one topic for a Level 1 exam. In Levels 2 and 3 the story can be quite different as the vignette format 'lumps' 6 questions around one similar topic.
