        @CFAcharterwannabe‌ is in UAE, although he just attempted the CFA L1 in June 2014…

            Hi @Maverick‌ /Ben, I haven’t used Allen myself, but have heard of quality consistency issues at times, in terms of updating of content. 

            Any one else tried/tested them before? Would love to hear more.

              Thanks @Sophie‌. They just seem ridiculously cheap when compared to the other mainstream providers out there.

              Perhaps I’ll have a punt with my $38 and let you all know. They are touting the testbank as being 2014/15, and it’s only a few $$$

                I’ve used it – and yes, there are certainly issues of consistency of content. For Level I I don’t think it’ll be an issue though – just use it as practice and don’t take what is said as gospel. 

                For price – they have frequent sales. I think I got mine for £6.99 each time (and at that price, it’s a steal).

                  I’ve seen their YouTube videos before. They were pretty outdated and not v useful…

                    Nice one @BeanCounter‌.

                    Out of interest (and this is perhaps one that the Mods might know), are there any others out here in the UAE studying for the CFA L 1 that are out here in the emirates and registered on 300h? Might be worth trying to get a little study group together.
