Hi everyone, I have a theory that we learn and forget the whole syllabus during the time we are preparing for a CFA exam. Therefore when it comes to the revision period the majority of our revision time is spent ‘re-learning’ content that we have forgotten rather than being used to allow us to gaining a greater level of understanding or mastery of the syllabus. Interested in your thoughts and experiences and whether you think my theory is sound or not.
I think the amount forgotten is quite significant, but practice exams highlight the important concepts. I end up refocusing on key areas – I don’t really spend a load of time reviewing things, although I do take the point that a lot is forgotten!
