For level II I have obtained the videos, I plan to watch them first rather than reading the text but I am wondering if reading the text is a waste of time? Best way for me to learn is to answer question after question so do I just drop the reading all together? What about reading the text like a week later to help with recalling concepts? Thoughts on this? Thanks

Level II is a whole ‘nother level compared to Level I, definitely read the material, especially sections like Fixed Income and Ethics were you will have alot of qualitative information rather than pure quant methods. Practice questions won’t help you much for remembering definitions and abstract concepts, because they won’t repeat the same questions as the practice material.
