Fair point @Tuttle_Captain - I think music works differently for others. I use ear plugs mostly too, or at least put headphones with no music on

  Mostly solid advice except the listening to music while studying. I always wore earplugs in the exams due to the noise of a couple hundred people in one room. Simulate exam situations as much as possible. I wore earplugs for all studying (except for online classes).
