Exam Retakes

Hi Guys, since i am thinking about starting CFA i am also weighing up chances and risks. Since i could not find sufficient source on the CFA website i have two questions currently open:

Is there any chance to repeat/retake an exam if i do not achieve MPS? And if yes, how many times per level?

I currently work as an in-house financial consultant with focus on P&L related topics at a big insurance company. So basically indirectly i do provide investment related information, even if the relevant area is not directly interconnected with my tasks. Does this count as relevant work experience in investments, or do I better ask the local CFA office directly?
