        How to prepare for CFA L1?

        Hello,

        I’m new here. I come from an engineering background, and I was looking to transition into a career in finance. I decided to prepare for the CFA L1, and I got the Schweser notes.

        However, I have to admit that since my knowledge in finance is at 0, I feel clueless when reading through the books (I just started).

        So my question is, how do I approach(books/topics) so that I understand the material, and build on the ideas I learn previously? How do I study the material?

        Any suggestions welcome, thank you!
