Hi! My exam appointment has been confirmed and will be held on 22 Nov. However I lost my grandfather last week. I wonder whether my request to postpone the exam today is still valid or not? And what evidence I need to provide to CFA Institute?
The current deferral policy for Nov 2021 below states that deferrals must be completed within 10 days of your exam window. Does this mean this deferral needs to be submitted at least 10 days before my exam? Or does it actually mean the deferral has to be submitted within 10 days of my exam?
Please help!

Sorry for your loss. It is possible that you might be granted a deferral – it’ll be down to CFA Institute’s discretion. You may need to submit proof of the reason of your deferral.
I believe “within 10 days” means ‘before, and up to 10 days past the exam’, but this is just my interpretation.
