I think it is spot on! The CFA is the MBA for the financial space. However, speaking from experience, there is value in having a masters in business in this field. I work in advisory and I can certainly note a difference in how quickly I understand our client's business, comp. landscape, etc. At always, it comes down to the individual's career and passion in determining if an MBA or CFA is necessary.
