I have to say it…I’m half way through Financial Reporting and Analysis and I’m about to go insane. I think I’ll move on and come back later.
in reply to: Question of the Week – Ethics #80782Up::5I’m making flash cards for the formulas. I’m going to go through them 2-3 times a day. I think this will help.
Up::5@Pranav It’s for my personal growth and fun more than anything. I’m interested in the Raspberry Pi’s and Arduinos. So, python will be the language I start with. Eventually I’d like to travel the world and not have to work a 9-5 schedule. Programming would allow me to do that best. 🙂
@daedalusbloom Thanks for the link. I will have to check it out. 🙂

I think the reason there is no correlation with the amount of time someone had to study and how well they do is because its a matter of ambition. And financial industry is very competitive and ambitious as it is. 😉
Up::4Hello, hello
My name is Shannon. I’ll be taking this wonderfully difficult (level 1) exam this December. Although my title is Financial Analyst, I really am learning to trade options. I’ve got my B.S. in Investments and am wanting to get my PhD in Economics one day. Totally excited to get to know all of you wonderful people. Feel free to reach out and ask me questions or even just get to know me. :smiley:

Haha, what a great question. I’d be spending more time with the family, taking a holiday from the sand, working less, doing just about anything. But then as soon as level 1 is dealt with, level 2 begins, so I don’t anticipate any break for a while!
How long do they take to give you the result of the L1 exam? Just wondering how much time I will then have to hammer out L2 after being given the L1 result (hopefully with a positive outcome)…I’ve read that it takes them about a month or so to give you the results. So…not much time, unfortunately. I think I may do the June 2015 level 2, but I’m not sure yet.
