in reply to: Schweser not as great for Level III? #81945Up::9Thanks @daharmattan1 and @christine that is really helpful! Were you guys going through practice questions at the end of each Schweser topic review or just at the end of the study session? Also did you leave more time at the end to go through practice essays and questions or did you leave the typical 4-6 weeks for review? Up::5@sophie @hobojoe do you guys know what scores we should be shooting for on our LOS/reviewe quizzes? Up::3Sitting for Level I in December. Wondering how people schedule out their time/if there was a good study schedule out there? Up::3@Sophie I found that very helpful. I agree with @Tonypetrunin that the hardest part has been adjusting my sleep schedule. Weekends are definitely the heavier study periods, but it all helps. Thanks for the advice! in reply to: Any tips for Level 1 guys? #73725Up::2@vincentt how many hours did you target per week? @banananata if your only through ethics, quant and a part of econ by the end of July are you counting on putting in 20ish hours the next couple months to play catch up? Up::2@edulima I guess collusion would be more successful when it attracts more competition, however I think the point is that when there is less competition outside of the colluding parties the act of collusion has a greater affect. @microeconomist please feel free to correct me if you thought otherwise in reply to: Study Plans/Techniques #76831Up::2@sophie just took L1 in December and wanted to get started on L2. Did not want to waste 3 weeks just waiting for the results. I downloaded the spreadsheet you posted and found it really helpful for L1. Was wondering if you had a rough schedule for L2. Thanks! in reply to: Study Plans/Techniques #76833Up::2@sophie – After I posted that I just looked at the ebook to look at the number of pages that Schweser has for the first three topics. Won’t order any books for level I or II until results day, but this helps until then. Thanks for the quick response! Up::1@tonypetrunin just got my book for level 1 in Dec and getting organized. Are you still using the excel template you found online or did you switch over to the ios app? I’m an andriod user, so its not an option for me. @marc any other suggestions? in reply to: Any tips for Level 1 guys? #73746Up::1@vincentt thanks! I read a post on the blog last night and laid out my schedule that way. I’ll be through quant this week or next and then pretty much on track for a book a month after that. I skimmed ethics and was planning on really hitting it at the end. Do you think that makes sense? @sophie the detailed goals are great thank you! You guys are both great resources in reply to: How well prepared am I? #76418Up::1@peekabooitsme I am scoring in the similar range. My highest score for either an AM or PM session is a 68% and my lowest is a 61%. @sophie do you know how that lines up with a passing score? I know it moves around from exam to exam, but just ballpark? Up::0Just wrapped up derivatives today. I skimmed ethics and so I plan and going back to review that and FRA/Micro economics then hit the practice exams. Any suggestions on strategies for the last couple months @sophie?
