So for L1, I discussed how I found out about the exam and scholarship, my career goals, how the scholarship supports my current financial position, and the value the CFA will bring. For the L2 and L3 scholarship applications, I further discussed what I have learned thus far from the CFA and how it has been directly applicable for me, in addition to the other basic stuff like why the CFA and scholarship is necessary. Hi, I am the guest contributor of this article, sorry for the late reply, I did not receive any notifications and I can’t login with LinkedIn or Facebook due to some invalid link. With regards to Financial Information, I recommend basing it off of income directly attributable to you, and non-retirement assets accessible to you (e.g. not an IRA or 401K). However, like you said, this section is unclear, but my interpretation was income and assets that you have available to spend on things such as the CFA.

Level II is a whole ‘nother level compared to Level I, definitely read the material, especially sections like Fixed Income and Ethics were you will have alot of qualitative information rather than pure quant methods. Practice questions won’t help you much for remembering definitions and abstract concepts, because they won’t repeat the same questions as the practice material.

The scholarship application will specify if any additional documents are required, it appears that no other documents are necessary. I have received the scholarship twice, and applied for a third time, but I cannot remember precisely how I filled it out the prior two times.
