Just cracked open Economics. I started with Ethics and Standards but this got so confusing/dull that I’m leaving it for last.

Any advice for a newbie?

Yeah I got tripped up by loads of these as well. I’m not sure as well, I just had a re-look again at the whole Standard V(C)–Record Retention section and I agree that you can argue this both ways.

I don’t think it means anything significant, just not a very clear explanation.

To conduct a t-test, 4 requirements must be met:

Data must be continuous (not discrete)Samples have to be independentData must approximate normal distributionNo outliers

Differing variances would not be a problem for t tests – it’s just another variable in calculating the t-statistic.
