@sophie – the corporate finance I’m in is less about …. related to investment banking.

It’s more accounting / reporting. the financial analysis is just a title b/c we deal with forecasting…

but its inside of a large corporation for our products.

level 1… first time in here…

i tend to join forums for certain subjects b/c the people are honest and give the real advice.

I will be taking my level 1 in June ’14, and graduating with my MS-Finance in August ’14 (dont worry. my spring and summer semesters are breeze, part time enrollment. I’ll be fine!)

I hope to not only soak up the information, but hand out my own experiences and become a leader eventually.

I’d like to get in on this as well.

I will be graduating with my Master in Science – Finance from state school in May. I currently work as a financial analyst for a Fortune 15 company.

I do not want to stay in regualr corporate finance. I want to move over into investment banking or alternative investments.

I will be taking the CFA L1 in June as well, and I feel pretty good about passing them as most of the material was what we went over in my classes. I’ll be 25 in the summer as well.

i find that listening to people ramble is calming b/c it doesnt require me to think. just nod and agree b/c that’s what they want you to do.

I am taking part in it this year for my school.

They’ve already given us our company. Its a lot of research.

I’m hoping that this will give me an opportunity to mingle and network with some professionals.

I thought it said “BEST CONSOLE EVER”… then I clicked on the choices and got a bit worried that you didnt have Super Nintendo, Playstation 2, or Dreamcast on there. lol

Nevertheless, its all about the PS4. I currently have an Xbox 360, and I love it. However, the PS4 is cheaper, stronger, has more room to grow, and better exclusives.
