So I minus the deferred tax asset from the net income as it doesn’t have an associated cash flow. Is this correct? And in this situation a deferred tax liability would be added on?
in reply to: Passport-Middle Name #81045Up::4Yeah I am having the same issue… I sent an email to the CFA Institute and they sent back a generic “here’s a form to change your details” response. I’ve asked them to clarify so hopefully I’ll hear back soon! I don’t want to submit a change details form this close to the exam if I can avoid it. Did anyone hear anything else in the meantime?
in reply to: 11 days to go! Are we there yet? #81181in reply to: So what now? #81424Up::3Its interesting to hear what everyone has to say about this! I agree with @edmundbp83‌, I think I’ll either be doing Level 1 again in June or (fingers crossed!!) moving on to Level 2. 1.5 years seems a long time to wait to do Level 2 and I’ve kind of got into the study habit so it makes sense for me to continue.
in reply to: Final Month Anxieties (Sorry to be that guy) #81024Up::2I sent in a name change form by email last week (the ol’ middle name conundrum) and it took less than 24 hours for them to come back to me with an amended ticket. So I’d definitely do it just to be safe!
Up::1I got $91.78. Pretty sure I got this wrong, but I’m not sure where I went wrong! I used the cost of equity to discount back – should I have used the WACC?
in reply to: Auto pilot during the exam #81426Up::0I had a major adrenaline rush at the start – I realised my exam ticket didn’t quite match my passport!! (The expiry date was one number out, I have no idea how I missed it.) The proctor disappeared with my passport at one point and I was convinced they were gonna kick me out. It all turned out fine, although I was in a daze for the entire exam. No idea how I’ve done as I have a total memory blank!
