Hey guys need some advice here. I could not get the week before the exam off because one of my colleagues is on his annual leave and I have to fill in for him. I might not even get this Friday off. I work from 9-7 and am really exhausted when I get back home. Any advice on how I could best spend my time? So far I have taken 5 Mocks (Including CFAI Mock) and am averaging roughly 75%.
Thanks

I’ve got a job in a week before exam…. thats a blessing in disguise 😀 So im working in Friday too and then I have to travel 3 hours to the test center. But I think I’ll be rested anyway 🙂
I didnt touch a single mock exam :< but considering fact that I was learning for 5-10 hours day by day during the last 7 months I’m still confident about my skills.
GOODLUCK to all who devoted such a significant amout of time for this exam! We’re strong!

Ouch. That’s not a good position to be in. I’m actually a bit indignant on your behalf that you can’t even take leave when you have to! Surely that’s against some kind of employee right? You should try and put your foot down for Friday at least.
If you’re 9-7, I would simply focus on reading through practice exams and the detailed answers, rather than going through the actual exam, grading, and reviewing. That way you go through more practice exams faster, and in a not-so-stressful way.
Good luck!

The exam went ok @paulpassedtense and having the Friday before off really helped. I actually used your product in the last few weeks for extra practice and really liked it. Hope I pass :#

@ArsenalFan, if it’s any consolation, I only scored above 70% on one of the six mock exams I took for Level I and I passed (5 Schweser mocks, 69% on the CFAI mock). Be sure your solid topics stay solid, brush up on Ethics, and glance over any weak points. You are looking good headed down the stretch here, stick to what you’re doing and I believe you’ll pass.

I’m sorry to hear that! You’ll be impressed what your body and mind can do when you’re put up against this hard task. I think you’re going to do great despite being tired. You just may sleep all day Sunday 🙂 So I think you can do it!
Keep in mind that famed baseball player Babe Ruth played one of his best games (Against the White Socks) after being drunk and staying up all night and still being intoxicated at the game. If you’ve got the skills in you, they will come up despite whatever is hampering you. I don’t recommend trying that for the exam by the way, get normal sleep and eat what normally sits well with you. I also don’t really recommend Babe’s lifestyle either – he died at 53 despite being a professional athlete.

Take long lunches to review your notecards, come in late, leave early. Coast this week. Save your energy for mocks after work
