CFA Material- When do i receive it?

So i m planning for CFA DEC’15 attempt and i want to whether i receive the material for level 1 upon enrollment only or when i register for level 1?
Was planning to first get enrolled and later when i manage to accumulate the amount for registration i would do that. So the material after enrollment or registration of level 1?
Also, is the passport necessary for the enrollment too?
