What’s everyone’s study schedule like? I was relying entirely on weekends, about 8-10 hours each when I took CFA. But curious on how you all make things work your own way.
What’s yours like?

No worries @SidMenon, I’m sure we’ll be like them some day. I’m trying to strike the right balance with work now for Level 1, not easy!

My hours are a little more predictable on weekdays, so I try to get 1-2 hours on some days during work, so that I can have a little more fun on weekends.
Overall target is 15 hours a week minimum.

I’m still job hunting at this stage, so theoretically have a little more time. But job search does seem to take most of weekdays. The constant interruption from calling and receiving calls doesn’t help either. So bulk of the work ends up on weekends too.

Hey! I’m currently not working. I’m only preparing for L1 in June. How much time do you think i should put in daily since i am not doing anything else?

Hmm okay, that sounds good. But approximately how many hours a day so as to not understudy or overwork myself?

@sidmenon, it should be ok. Im doing that too but constantly interrupted by job search/interview work. So im doing 6 hours a day of study, 2-3 hours job search on weekdays. Weekend I study half a day on Saturday and take a break for rest of the weekend.
I dont know how you guys do it with a full time job!

I was just wondering the same thing, how do the guys here who are working manage both? They must be really focused and determined!

i’ve been doing what i’ve done for level 1 (weekends) but at my current pace I’ll have to step up a bit.

I’d go full time, as much as I can, with one day rest a week.

Maybe 2 sessions of 3 hours each? That’s kind of what I do for weekends, but not sure if possible for 6 days a week though.

@Reena yay job hunting is time consuming and interviews are usually at short notice so they mess with my studying schedule T_T. It also makes it tricky to plan out how much studying I can get in a week so I started establishing base line amounts that I absolutely have to have done by the end of the week.

I think i can manage that. Not too much. I should be able to cover everything easily if i study a good 6 hours in a day.
