I am very new to CFA preparation, but not new to finance. I wanted to attempt CFA level 1 for next December (December 2017). I wanted to be familiar with topics and start my preparation ahead from now (April 2016). What materials can I refer to get started?

Are 2016 level 1 Wiley books a good start? Please let me know about any other materials to use?
