I have a few handed down to me – it helps to ask some current charterholders if they have any calculators to spare as a backup.

Yeah I don’t get why we had to get this calc. I swear mine gives different results everytime.

Funny, this is the exact calculator next to me right now. Investment bank standard issue a few years back…

Agree with @jimmyg, when I was taking L1 I saw many who were desperately pleading for my backups, but I felt terrible for them, but they were my spares in case the battery dies out on me!

Just go through the notes. The calc looks a bit unapproachable at first but you’ll be tapping that like a veteran in no time (ahem)
