It’s definitely allowed and I always saw candidates studying during the break. That being said, I would strongly recommend against it. I believe you should focus on getting some rest and food during the break so you’re ready for the second half. You will never be able to revise a significant part of the curriculum in such a short time period, so it will most likely just make you more nervous for all the parts you weren’t able to revise…

Yes, you can. The only issue is where to put that stuff during the exam itself. My centre had lockers, but they filled up quick! The other issue is, whether it’s a great idea. For a lot of people a bit of slow breathing and a chance for the brain to slow down is probably more beneficial. Horses for courses though.

A little Zumba dancing here and there during the break might be useful to relieve stress. Gotta use my ZIN after all.

The first session gets over at 12 and the second one begins at 2. As per the hall ticket, you have to report back to the exam centre at 1, for the second session.
Thus, you get about an hour for lunch and possibly half an hour after. In this short period, I believe that the most one could revise is some key formulae and some key concepts.
Keeping that in view, it wouldn’t hurt to carry one book and try to revise as much as possible while having lunch. Remember to relax for a bit, you have to be fresh for the afternoon session as well!
I’m not sure whether I’ll use the break to revise. I’ll probably just eat a good healthy lunch and relax before going for the next 3 hour session. To be safe, in case I change my mind and actually decide to use that time for revision, I am going to carry my notebook in which I’ve written the most important formulae/concepts.
Hope this helps,
Jessica 🙂

I don’t see why not. I saw maybe about 50% of the candidates studying during break time, but I personally didn’t – nerves.

Be sure to move around a little bit. You’ve been sitting for 3 hours and you’ll be sitting more!
I recommend dancing
Its only awkward until other people join in, then it becomes cool
