Hi guys I’ve been doing the past cfa papers and just started doing the schweser past morning papers. Does anybody find their level of difficulty a lot higher than the cfa past papers and the wording of the questions not well structured? They have absolutely killed my confidence a week before the exam which is not good. What’s the general consensus – are they a good source specifically for level 3? If so I got to crack on and get used to this!
Up7Thanks mattyc – did you do both practise exam books by schweser or just one as they tend to get harder in te second book I find as well. I have gone through cfa past papers from 2011 onwards, that’s what I’ve been comparing the schweser papers to.

Up3Thanks. I’ve seen the sample questions on the cfa website, but for older papers such as for 2012 I couldn’t find any links on the cfa website. Will try searching properly on google. Thanks for your help much appreciated!
Up3Sorry sofie I meant this years papers and books from Fitch and schweser. Reason I’m asking is there’s two weeks and I’m just starting papers now but got a long bank holiday weekend ahead and I got the last week off as well. Just seeing how many papers I can realistically go through constructively and actually learn and progress from rather than just bashing out question after question and not learning from the mistakes I make. Through your experiences how many papers would you say is a good target to aim for with the long bank holiday weekend and the whole of the next week off. I’ve seen your post in going through approx 7 papers, do you think that’s realistic in the time frame given because I tend to overestimate how much I can really do in a day and then go into panic mode realising I haven’t concerned what I had set out to do. Your helps much appreciated, it’s great that you’re willing to share your experiences as we can learn so much from it.

Up1Thanks sofie, I have a couple of Fitch past papers, the schweser exam paper books and the free mocks on the cfa website, plan is to go through all of them in the next 2 weeks (don’t know if that’ll happen though!) just wanted to see which ones to prioritise first. Ill definitely do the cfa mocks and I’ll try and vary it between schweser and fitch by alternating possibly . Thank you so much for your help on this!

Up1Im still waiting for mine guys – I know it sounds silly but someone once mentioned that if you’ve passed you should get your results within the hour and the later you get your results the more likely you’ve failed. I brushed it off as nonsense before but as you can see when the jitters kick in things like this play on your mind. Is there any truth in the above and has anyone got their level 2 results yet?
In case you haven’t noticed I am stressing the hell out lol.Up0Hi Sofie, some very good points, I find myself overthinking ethics and missing key points in the vignette. Will defo bear this in mind. A quick question, in your opinion and everyone else that reads this, how effective did you find the two schweser past exam books in terms of
Preparation? That is if you used them? I’m starting past exams now and trying to prioritise which ones to do. Would appreciate your opinion on this. Thanks
