Hi, I am new to the CFA and I am currently working out a study plan based on the table above ( thank you for posting this!). I just have a question regarding the ‘Hours to Study’ column, is that the recommended hours that you would give to study for each topic? any help would be appreciated, thanks. 🙂

thanks for sharing @mitch895 I am only halfway through my third book(Fin Reporting) I am not sure if the material is sticking just yet. I keep revising and doing the EOC questions from other chapters I have covered earlier on but my score is pretty low ~50% or so. 🙁in reply to: Tips for a Newbie #76446Up::1Hi, I am new to the CFA aswell sitting it in June 2014. I not too sure how I am getting on. I started with my best topic Economics and ethics and I am now on Quant methods, which I am struggling to get through it at a decent pace. I am scoring in the late 60’s to early 70’s in the end of chapter questions. Should I be worried about this score?
I also study about 2.5 hours on average 4days a week and then one full day at the weekend, roughly 5-6 hours. Does anyone know if this is enough to get through it?Up::0thank you so much for writting your story, @brosephstalin ! I am hitting my breaking point right now! I have been so good with my studies for so long now, started pretty early, and I am questioning why I signed up for this at the moment.
With so little time to go it would be a shame not to give it my all! this article has really woken me up and I know what I need to do from here. couple of weeks and it will be over,… for now!
thanks again, and Happy St. Patricks Day to all. 🙂 -
