Congratulations to all on your success! I also learned yesterday that I cleared L1 from Dec 2014 and have registered to take the Jun 2015 L2 exam. Why not stay in the studying mode and build on what you did to pass L1? I am using Kaplan materials, CFA curriculum, and Irfanullah as supplement. You can find link to Irfanullah on CFA website under candidate resources as a CFA approved provider. He has many free videos on youtube and offers some very reasonable study materials that are direct and to the point.
Up5One person told me they put the definition on their smartphone background/screensaver so they’d see it over and over. I posted a note in front of me at my desk and repeated it daily. Going to see it at L2 in conjunction with regression testing: ANOVA, t- stats and SE.

Up3Found that the official CFAI Android study app was the best phone/tablet based app to study – using end of reading summary and review questions/answers. Passed L1 Dec 14 on 1st attempt and used app daily. Best of luck to you.
Up1Found that using the library to study was a good tool. During exam in Washington DC (L1 Dec 14) there were always candidates and proctors moving up and down the aisles (to & from restrooms, etc) and random noises in the exam area. There were over 1000 people in the convention hall taking the exam. The proctors would periodically lift exam credentials off the table (passport & exam ticket) to examine during the exam. It was beneficial to use the library with all the noise and distractions to practice maintaining a laser focus on the exam. Don’t want to lose concentration and waste time looking around or make the proctor think you’re looking at another candidate’s test. Time management for me was crucial. Fortunately I was able to complete all questions within the allotted time. Practice filtering out the distractions for 3 hours at a sitting. Good luck!
