Hi everyone!
Best of luck to everyone with results day coming up tomorrow! Or if you’re a Hunger Games or Star Wars fan, May the odds be ever in your favor/ May the force be with you. How’s everyone feeling?!? -

i’m in the same boat as @Stuj79, whenever I have doubts about the results I go to my quiet place and think for a while over every section in the exam and tell myself I’m over the 70% hurdle…annnd then 10 minutes later I start again. frustrating. The only upside for me is, since I’m not eligible for the L2 exams in June, I get two more chances (which I prefer not to take) before I take the L2, so…but all in all I won’t be sleeping tonight (whether or not I pass or fail) since the results are emailed to me at 1:00am local time.

@dphauser I’m just trying to do whatever I can to calm my nerves right now. This forum, Facebook, reading movie reviews. Just so freaking out right now and every minute’s just adding to the pressure.
@simply_complex2 I don’t think mine will be in junk because all emails I’ve ever received from the institute arrive directly in my inbox. -

wow….such a relief. I think I haven’t been more excited to receive an email than today  Congrats to all others who passed!!

Well less than 4 hours to go now. Tried to sleep as much as I could so I don’t need to obsess over the results. Now I’m just playing video games to take my mind off it. The sad part is that knowing that I’ve passed will only give me relief rather than make me overjoyed because there are no marks. But if I fail I will feel shattered … 6 months of hard work and all that money is just too much to accept failure.

LOL that is a great reaction. Congrats @simply_complex2!

@simply_complex2 I laughed out loud in the office – but congrats, well done, and hope you see a doctor about that hand!

Congrats to all those who passed! Got 70+ in everything but Ethics (50-70)!! Does that mean I am unethical? Could not care less 😉

>70% on everything except Derivatives…I bombed that with <=50%. I am surprised I did much better in FI and Quant than I originally felt coming out of the exam.

I have to say I felt super confident coming out of the exam, really thought “yup, I nailed that!!”…however with the passage of time your mind starts to play tricks on you, so now I’m thinking “what if…”
But yeah, overall I feel relatively confident (at the risk of looking very silly tomorrow), but just want to get my result now…sick of waiting.

Didn’t get the mail either. This shit is creepier than a horror movie.
If I ever meet a ghost, ill probably say, ” Gave the cfa bro. You don’t scare me. ”No offence to any ghosts out there. Please treat this as a friendly joke. 🙂

Amazing @RoyD! Did you check on where you stand comparatively in our reader database? You can check here: http://www.300hours.com/level-i-results.html

Well, after months of EOC scores in the 70 to 85% range on every topic, I got exactly what I expected… Fail, band 8.
Memory retention issues strike again. Oh well, there’s always June. -

@christine I did in fact check it out earlier. It averaged at 76%, min 66.4%, max 94%. Apparently I scored higher than 91% of the candidates in this forum. 😀

Failed. Band 9. :disappointed:
Congratulations to those who nailed it. I am now torn between retaking it on June or December, or something else.
I agree that I messed up with the concepts during the real test. The calculation part was really simple (I nailed Quants + Port Mgt, but the rest….)
If I go with June14, that gives me 4 months and 1 week to reinforce my conceptual understanding. Won’t lie that I feel kinda sad now. :'(

Hey everyone!
I am just trying to keep myself as busy as possible, so that I don’t keep on obsessing about the results till they finally hit the inbox! But I guess what we all need to do is, be calm, be positive and be prepared to face whatever is written in that email. I am sure that we’ll reap the fruits of our efforts!
All the best to everyone! May the force be with us! (following @simply_complex2’s lead)

Slightly less than an hour to go!
Also, I received the rare little good luck charm badge from 300 hours! That did make me feel lucky and slightly relaxed.
I’m taking that as a sign that good things are about to hit the inbox in sometime…
Absolutely cannot wait any longer!
*fingers crossed*
Jessica 🙂
