Hi @Immortal1989 – what section are you not clear about in particular? The grey box are areas you need to fill up with information.
The first step is to decide which material you’re using for your studies. Then input the topics (e.g. Ethics etc) in the column B. The number of study days you have estimated to finish that topic (based on your productivity and time availability as you’ve stated in the first ‘Time plan’ sheet) – note that this is your estimate before studying.
Column F is the actual time (in hours) you’ve used to complete that section’s revision. Then you can compare whether you are overly optimistic in your planning.
Column G is the number of pages read of that topic so far, you update this every time you study that topic. Column J is what you should fill out from the start, which states the total number of pages of that topic – with Column G and J then you can track your % completion progress in Column L. The rest of the columns should be self explanatory, I hope this helps. Don’t hesitate to let me know if you’ve any questions.

There’s always the risk that the LOS changes, but if you want to cover the LOS differences yourself it’s probably OK? I personally would just use the right material for the right exam so I don’t worry about such things 🙂

Thanks @indigonation5 – glad you found it useful.
Did you mean you did Level 1 last week? Doing it via curriculum is hard if you’ve such a short time to revise (assuming you’ve a full time job) once you find out your results in late Jan. Schweser, Elan or 7City are good bets.

@Sophie – Ah yes! I get your point! The dreaded burn out. Had experienced it during L1 prep.
Have to ensure to take a proper break.
So nice of you to write it and point it to us. Thank you!!In that case, wish your advice –
Is it safe to use Schweser 2013 for 2014 prep? Considering I cover the LOS differences from the curriculum? As it might take time for the material to arrive once I order after my results.. and anyways, once I have started scribbling/taking notes in the 2013 material, I wouldn’t want to shift to fresh notes!

Another question about the second sheet – The Deadline column says that the deadline for Practice Exams and Revision should be at least one month prior to the exam. I’m confused because then aren’t you doing more review until the exam itself (and probably more practice exams)? Do you really want two months (or more) of this versus more time spent on the original material? Or perhaps I am misinterpreting the suggested structure?
Thanks! -

Hi @joe240 – I can understand why you got confused there, and have updated the spreadsheet notes.
What I meant was you should target to finish your revision 1 month before the exams and leave the last month for nailing practice papers and final revision of weaker topics. I hope this clears things up.
