I am having a pretty difficult time managing the insane about of reading that needs to be done (I am using the original material from the CFA institute). How are you guys managing the amount of reading that needs to get done.
I am usually reading every page (and word tbh).
Any helpful advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
I haven’t finished much material (I plan to only cover the material ones) but getting through it all just seems crazy. I would buy from a third party, but don’t have the money, BUT even tho I work full time, I can still mange to squeeze in about 2-3 hours of study time daily and on the weekends 5-6 hours is no problem.
What do you guys think???

Just FYI that site is selling copywrited material illegally so if you do buy from there you have immediately broken the CFA code of ethics. That site should be investigated and closed down….I mean I appreciate Schweser is expensive but those people are basically stealing their hard work and profiting from it at $130 a go!!!

I had no idea that buying illegal copies of third party retailers can be construed as a breach of code of ethics and professional standards.
I would also urge the OP to disregard site aforementioned by me.

tion. Members and Candidates must not knowingly participateor assist in and must dissociate from any violation of such laws,

Act with integrity, competence, diligence, respect and in an
ethical manner with the public, clients, prospective clients,
employers, employees, colleagues in the investment profession,
and other participants in the global capital markets.Practice and encourage others to practice in a professional and
ethical manner that will reflect credit on themselves and the
profession.I would say that purchasing illegal copywrited material breaches these two code of ethics requirements on a pretty fundamental level.

Mate, this is a “discussion forum” for CFA related issues and it has been recommended to him that he purchase and use illegal material…do you not think it is relevant/useful to issue a warning against that course of action and explain why?
