@artyeasel haven’t tried out the practice exams yet. Need to retain at least some of the curriculum in my head before testing the waters. [-O< Good for you though 🙂 Have you completed studying the curriculum?

@MattJuniper I also like starting the exams early (probably will start around mid-April) since it really clarifies how little I know and helps with learning the key concepts.

I tried one to get a feel of the new Level 2 format. It’s pretty tough and takes a much longer time that you’d expect.

I had a look through the first Schweser AM session to get a feel of the essay format. Looks pretty tough to be honest – there were many questions where I knew I would be at a complete loss.

Yea I was gonna start around the same time @diya, they are too precious to waste these exam papers and I just want to make sure I’m “fully” prepared for them!

The first one is always hard. And then they get harder as you go along 🙂 but practice exams are the best way to learn so keep ploughing on with them! If you’ve read through the curriculum and are already doing practice exams you are well ahead of the curve. Also, remember to do the EOCs…at the end of the day the CFAI are the ones setting the questions so no doubt most will have appeared before in some shape or form!

Another vote for the EOCs – they are an excellent way to get the ‘tone’ of how CFA Institute will put questions forward on exam day.
