I have been diagnosed with Covid positive on October 26th and my CFA Level 1 Exam is scheduled for November 17th. Can I defer my exam for next year?

The CFA website says that deferral forms for november 2021 candidates must be completed within 10 days of the exam window. Do I need to wait until November 7th to complete the deferral form?
